LIVING IN MANCHESTER / THE CITY

MANCHESTER

The Great Northern Warehouse Square

I moved to Manchester mid September, and so far I love living here.
It's such a vibrant city with so much to offer and so much to do, it's good for many things such as the night life, shopping, restaurants and quirky cafes, but the reason I love it so much is the hidden parts that not many people brag about, the little areas to go and just sit and chill. The pure entertainment you get from the 'unique' people that live here and the long walks you can take and discover somewhere new each time.
I explored my new city and took some snaps along the way..

Another reason why I adore living in Manchester is the fashion. I really do mean this when I say that everyone is so diverse and not many dress the same. Whatever your style, Manchester will have something to offer you. Whether it's vintage to high end, you can visit Afflecks Palace down in the Northern Quarter if thats your thing, or perhaps Armani in Spinningfields, Manchester has it all.

Nobody could ever get bored of the Manchester music scene, it caters for everyone.. similarly to fashion.
Famous bands have originated in Manchester, The Stone Roses, Oasis, The smiths.. just to name a few, and still to this day Manchester continues to produce awesome music, and my guess is that it always will. Manchester is also home to the famous Warehouse Project if thats more your scene.
The bars and clubs in Manchester are some of the best, and you're bound to enjoy your night if you go to the right place, I have a few favourites that I constantly re-visit, and definitely don't/won't get bored of them.

I moved to Manchester for University and I'm so glad I chose to live in this wonderful city, I don't think i'll ever get tired of living here and I wouldn't choose anywhere else (in the UK that is, suggest somewhere like Prague perhaps and I might change my mind..)

I'm studying Fashion Buying and Merchandising in Manchester and have been thinking about starting to write a few style blogposts, especially now I spend most of my time researching into trends etc, but still, I will continue to write about my travel experiences too!

Thanks for reading.
