IT'S A CLINIQUE THING...

An electronic brush designed to cleanse & purify the skin.. what more could you want, right?
However, unlike other electronic cleansing brushes this particular one doesn't spin round as it's switched on, instead a small vibration occurs lasting 30 seconds and then automatically switches itself off.. kind of like a little time limit to tell you to stop using it.. otherwise you may end up with red irritated skin, not cute.

The brush head has two sets of bristles on it, a smaller section of bristles at the top of the brush (green) designed to target T-zone sections of your face.. you know, to get those nooks & crannies, then the bottom section of bristles (white) targets larger areas of the face such as your cheeks, they're much softer than the green bristles too, so they work better on areas where pores aren't as 'clogged up'.

When purchasing my sonic system I also wanted to buy a face wash to go with it, so that the two could work hand in hand.
I went for the 'foaming sonic facial soap'.. which I love. It foams up so easily when applied to the face and is very gentle, when using it with my sonic system brush I firstly dampen my face, apply a small amount of the facial soap to my hands and spread an even layer of it across my face, I then put a small amount onto the sonic brush as well, I then use the electronic brush in circular motions all over my face to work the facial soap in, after the 30 seconds I then rinse my face with warm water. Afterwards my face feels so clean & refreshed, I then go on to apply a small amount of 'clinique moisture surge' onto my face just so my face doesn't feel/look too dry.

When purchasing my sonic system I was told by the shop assistant that customers purchasing the brush today would also receive a free gift bag with some clinique freebies inside... Bonus!

I received my new favourite moisturiser in the gift bag.. the 'moisture surge', its thick & creamy and sinks into the skin like a dream. Also thrown in there was a mini facial soap and 'take the day off' makeup remover, both of which have come in handy when travelling!
A compact mirror, 2 mini eyeshadows in mirrored casing and a bright pink lipstick (to match the gift bag) was also thrown into the mix!

I recommend to anyone suffering with any skin issues to invest in the clinique sonic system, although it may be expensive you do see real results.. and quite soon too.
I don't suffer with partiularly bad skin anyway to be honest, but the sonic system has just helped to smooth everything out even more.

Thank you for reading!

  2. I've been wanting one of these for absolutely ages now, they sound so good - I think I would just end up being to lazy to use it regularly! So good you got a free gift bag with yours as well.
